GCode flavor: the firmware your machine uses.Google tells me CR-10 uses Marlin, so you should select that. Volumetric Marlin is not very common. Print Head Settings X/Y min/max define the bounding box of the area your print head takes up. Measure the distance from the centre of the nozzle to the left-most point of the print head and do the same for the right-most, front-most and back-most. As a quick fix: Go to the install path, by default “C:Program FilesUltimaker Cura 4.4”. Right click Cura.exe and select ‘properties’. Click the ‘compatibility’ tab and select “Run This Program in Compatibility Mode For: Windows 8”. If this does not fix your issue, please contact your service provider. Minor improvements.

- I dont think that I can share the file here, but if you join the 'Creality Ender-5 3d printer user group' and search cura profile on the side, there is a downloadable file and instructions for adding it. Cura 4.2.1 now has a stock set of Ender 5 profiles.
- Slice Software: Cura、 Repetier-Host、 Simplify3D Power Supply Input:100-240V 5.9A 50/60Hz Output: DC 24V 21A Total Power 480W Filament: PLA, ABS, Wood, TPU, gradient color, carbon fiber, etc.

Object operation
Click right mouse function
The name of 'filename. gcode' file must be in English or number, do not name it into Chinese characters or others. Save the file to the SD card, then insert it into the card slot and turn on the power. Select 'print from SD' in the main menu from LCD Control Screen, then select the 'filename. gcode' file you just saved and confirm it and begin to print.
3. Cura software parameter settings
Open Cura software, you can modify all of the printing parameters on the display screen.
Select 'Switch to full settings'.
Layer height: 0.1 - 0.4mm available. 0.1mm high precision, but long printing time, 0.4mm low precision, but printing time is too short, in general select 0.2mm.
Shell thickness: 0.4mm is very thin, in general select 1.2mm, that will increase the printing time. Studio fix foundation review.
Enable retraction: To prevent the wire from leaking when printing quickly, otherwise it will affect the appearance. Switch screenshots to pc.

Bottom / Top thickness: In order to make the top layer print more perfect and flat bottom layer.
Fill density: If the intensity is not high, select 20%. If the intensity is high, increase it and the printing time also will increase.
Print speed: Generally set 30-100, he print speed is higher and the precision is lower.
Printing temperature: Depends on the filament, generally select 190 - 210 degrees.
Support type: Include a half-support and full support. In general the model with suspended structure needs to set support, but a surface will be rough after removing support.
Platform adhesion type: 'None' means do not set any support, 'Brim' increases the bottom area. 'Raft' base makes the model more adherent. To make the model better adhere to the base, add a base or edge. But best to increase a base and an edge relative to the small bottom area.

SKR 1.3 on cr10 just didn't work
by Doctor_DankCura Creality Ender 3
Alright so I need some big help. I got a SKR 1.3 with TMC2208 v3.0. I followed this guide for TMC2208 setup and marlin configuration (https://www.instructables.com/TMC2208-UART-on-BigTreeTechBIQU-SKR-V11-and-V13-Co/) for everything and this one for assembly into my cr-10 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B7gzDwh8UEM&t=167s). I flashed the software onto the skr 1.3 and it seemed to work as far as I know (the intial config and my new one transformed into one config after I restarted the motherboard. However, when I was assembling it into my cr-10, when I powered it up, the only thing that happed was my hotend fan turned on any nothing else. I'm pretty sure the wiring and everything is right but I'm not sure if I damaged the board or something when I was assembling it that caused it not to work or what? Does anyone have any experience with this or any idea why nothing else is tuning on even though the power is put in correctly?
